Twelve years old
Young and ambitious - couldn't wait to get old and watch in amazement how my life would unfold ...
Then dude you came along pulling mischief by the nose
But God only knows
That you meant no harm,
Who would have thought we'd be friends
In a world that fancies changes like fashion tends?
From mommy's boys to lokshin cowboys,
We held the bull by the horn
And cut the rose from the thorn
Because we knew that sooner or later we'd be be gone
And new teaspoon rebels would be born
To challenge loose tongues and social taboos
With huge guns and prison taboos..
Like all that is
We slowly vanished with ease
And our existence blown away like dust,
But in fate I trust
That before the Pearly Gates succumb to rust
I will be there.
Missing my brother and best friend,RIP Siyanda "Lion"Mbhobhho .
